The School Day
The school day starts for all children at 8.45am. School gates will open at 8.30.
A typical week consists of 32.5 hours.
We have a prompt start to our learning day, for this reason any child arriving after 8.45 will be signed in at the school office.
Our school day ends at 3.15pm for all of our children. Year 1 – 6 are collected from the school yard by parents using the main school gates (at the bottom of the playground). EYFS children are collected using the allocated gates which are located next to the school office. School staff remain with the class until they are collected by parents and the gates are locked.
Before and after school provision and extra-curricular activities.
Our school breakfast club is open from 7.50am and is run by our school staff Mrs Mayhew and Mrs Calvert. During breakfast club, our children enjoy a breakfast of toast or cereal and juice/milk; they also have access to games and toys which they can play with their peer groups.
Due to limited spaces, a place at breakfast club must be booked and paid for through Parent Pay.
We ask that children who are attending breakfast club come in through the ‘kitchen doors’. At 8.30 the children will be taken by staff to join their class.
